I'm working on functionality blocks like this engine for the base building system in our game. It's inspired by a Geneva drive that turns continuous rotation movement into intermittent rotary motion.

What choice of Terrain do you prefer in a game?

1. Procedurally Generated that looks a bit dull, and repetitive in shape and single Texture, but is always different/changing.

I'm experimenting with the maximum height for base-building in our game. The current cap is 15 blocks, which is 15 meters / 50 feet... maybe too much?
