I have a question... anybody knows how i set trophies for a Scratch game?

Hey, I need some help about the trophies. I'm making a game using Construct 2 and my plan is when a variable is bigger than zero, the user get the trophy. Here's an image:

But when I play, I just don't get the trophy. What should I do?

Should I do an earthbound style of sprites?

First off, I'm using GameMaker Studio. Secondly, I want to turn these white circles (and other possible white shapes) 100% transparent, for that classic SNES-style darkness for a two player game.
So, how do you cut holes in a "draw" function? Any ideas?
