It's a work in progress because I'd like to add his body later, and perhaps some details on his pot.

In my opinion, sketches are a very good backbone for any drawing. It's about speed, dynamics, calmness, stylization, everything you want to say and convey
Update on my Spanish teacher: she's better now! Guess we're back to in-person classes!
