Loading...For day 1147 of coding, I put a red shader on the player when the knockback happens. I'll need to see if I can apply a similar shader during the invulnerability period
#Devruary I always say "your vibe attracts your tribe", so for any project, "success" in a nutshell would look like seeing people out there whose lives are changed for the better by the project in the same positive way mine was by the devs before me.

Loading...For day 1146 of coding, I tried shortening the invulnerability period and making the "blinks" more rapid to see how it looks overall
#Devruary I try to release games as web builds to help protect the game assets(art) from vandalism. Thus my biggest fear when releasing a game is having no choice but to upload it as a downloadable package, as it opens the opportunity for that evil.

Loading...For day 1145 of coding, I've added the invulnerability time to the lower left portion of the debug screen
#Devruary The kind of feedback that helps me most is "constructive criticism with a spoonful of sugar" - it ALWAYS helps to let the dev know they're doing something right despite needing improvement. Bonus points if the critic is invested in the project.
1#Devruary I use my socials to share everything I create! I mainly stick the devlogs in places that allow for an article-like post format such as GJ and Tumblr, while I put art and promos in places like Discord and TikTok.
1I finally understood how to make manual control of your camera rendering.
Now i can make perfect 4:3 aspect ratio without any strange pixels stretching on my monitor.

Loading...For day 1144 of coding, I've set the player sprite to flash in and out during the time of invulnerability. It's not great, but it can serve as a base for something better
