What does a good character design needs outside of the visible design?

I always feel like my none dramatic characters are boring and I want to try and change that since just because your not living a dramatic story doesn't mean your boring

okay so, would ya be disappointed if I don't use the preLina version & instead use Lila 2? Remember that both characters can be any other sticker in the pack & are not at all limited to only that one!
