Given how much of an impact it made, and still makes given that Iβm obsessed with the soundtrack 
, the only answer I can give for this question is Bravely Default.
The game has some flaws, but it is a genuinely great game that I adore.
Confirmed improvements
Good news, the experiments with the new sprite layout have been successful. We just need to test it with multiple animations and find a way to make it easier.
