I've decided to create Rico as the hero for this game. Upgrade menu and exchange menu has been completed as well.
These shots show Rico's base and upgrade menu & exchange menu.
Loading...Ok I set it up, so lets see how this goes. Chunks now each have their own Cloud Particle, so I can change their opacity independently. I don't think this should effect performance...

Winston the Lizard concept (Yes, that's his name). This one is definitely going to be tweaked, I know it can be improved.
Loading...Hmm, more Cloud stuff. Definitely seems like I'm going to need separate particles for each chunk if I want them to adjust opacity when the player is under them.
Unless I don't care that it effects all of them...
