I have these Harry Potter-like character portraits in my game. Do you prefer animated portraits like this or hand-painted ones in RPGs?

My cockatrice artwork was hard to develop in this game so I decided to change the design and created this yet another chicken based boss #ChickenTrender.

The shots also show new way background is arranged to create different levels.
