Just had a try, like the style and story so far!
The mechanic to recharge your attack is a little annoying as when trying to get back on the carriage, I end up landing on a platform anyway which can throw me off. Might wanna either lessen the amount of platforms, or increase the attack capacity. (I also noticed that coins had appeared on platforms in the story mode's tutorial level, but stopped appearing after that, I assume this is a bug).
But besides that, it was pretty fun! Hope to see this gain some traction, as well as see what more it has to offer!
