2#Devruary For new game devs, i would seriously recommend starting with Scratch, and if you cant figure it out, use tutorials. That's how I started, and I've been very proud of the things I can create
#Devruary Day 20: Even if it free or easy, don't force yourself to use an engine if it's not right for whatever you;re making.

The best advice to give for new game dev is to start off small and simple. Be a part of hobby games or game jams is a great start to the get the feel of what making video games is all about and prepare of what to expect realistically.

The advice I would give to a new dev is: don't chase trends. Make something YOU'RE passionate about. The game will be better when it has your heart put into it.
